Making music has always been the focus of our lives since we met in January of 2000. Though we consider live performance the staple of our existence as musicians, we have also developed a love for creating in the studio. This has always provoked lively discussion between us as to what our identity is and whether or not we should try to make our studio cuts sound more "live" or to take on more band members to make our live performance sound more "studio."
Regardless of how we present our art, both of us agree that live acoustic performance carries with it a raw and direct way to communicate lyrically and musically. Inversely, the studio has become a place to reform and stretch our musical ideas in a way that would not be possible otherwise.
